"The Two Sides of Me" - Mavrick Robbins

My evil is low and my goodness is great, but the little evil inside me I really do hate.  Every day I commit evil as little as it may be, it grows slowly within me.  I read the Bible, go to church, but is this enough to keep down that evil lurch?  I have overcome evil in all of my days, but soon I may go on my separate ways.

"The Two Sides of Me"- Danyon Burk

The two sides of me are always angry, bashing, smashing and crashing.
They fight and fight until one falls down.  That is when the other controls me.

Lashing and swinging, the other tries
to get control of my mind.

They never stop, for one must win.  When Good loses he weeps and cries, because he feels bad for me.

"The Two Sides of Me"- Gavynn Melani

The two sides of me, the good and the bad, are at constant battle in my head.

The good wins a few, the bad comes around and the good battens down the hatches until there's no sound.
He looks out and to his horror, utter destruction lies all around.

Good on my left shoulder, bad on my right, they tell me what to do all through the night.
Now you know about the addicting bad I have to fight.

"The Two Sides of Me"- Ally Hyden

I didn't realize.
Didn't realize my evil side.
When you're a kid, they call it ignorance or mischief.
The truth is, it's evil.
My evil side is a demon of insincerity,
unhelpful, unkind.
She would twist the words so it would seem she was innocent, not guilty.
How awful!  How unforgivable.  How despicably, unreliably horrible.
My good side is kind.
An angel in the wind,
a star in a black sky.
Beautiful.
"Help more," she said. "Help more."
Why two sides?  Why not one- the good one?
Why?
